Hinduism

             Brief description on Hinduism

Hinduism is the oldest living religion in the world.  It is also known as Sanatan Dharma – the “Eternal Law”. Hinduism is more than 7000 years old (even older than Jesus) !
Hindus believe there is only one God.
Being universal, God can be “felt” and “experienced” in many ways.   Different aspects and characteristics of God are expressed in different “forms” of God.
Hindu philosophy is based on its sacred scriptures.

Sacred books- there are several sacred scriptures

4 Vedas
18 Puranas
2 Itihases
Vedas are the oldest form of sacred literature in human history.
1) Rig Veda – hymns
2) Yajur Veda – explains how to do the rituals
3) Sama Veda – explains how to sing the hymns
4) Atharava Veda – has hymns on extra rituals
There are several “Upnishads” that for the appendixes to the Vedas.
Puranas – 18 Puranas narrate legends and mythologies of the various Gods of Hinduism.
Itihas – narrates the histories of Indian people.
Ramayan – has the history of Rama, Sita and the “Solar dynasty”
Mahabharata – has the history of the princes of the Bharata clan of the “Lunar dynasty”

Main god

The Singular God of the Vedas is expressed as the many “Gods” that represent different aspects of the divine.
The Divine is expressed in male and female forms.

Brahma, with his wife Sarasvati is the creator and educator of the universe.
His children are the 7 Rishis (sages).  All living things in the universe are the children of these seven sages.
Shiv, with his wife Parvati is the destroyer, and they keep the universe in balance.
Their children are Ganesh and Kartikeya.
Vishnu with his wife Lakshmi nourishes the universe.
Brahma and Kamdeva, the God of love are their children.

Holy animals

Hindus believe that all animals should be treated nicely !Even cows on the road are holy !
Here are some animals Hindus consider to be holy eg - cow, peacock, mouse, tiger, snake, lion, boar, elephant, monkey, fish, turtle, eagles etc. What a lot of animals!
How some animals became holy!
Cows – Milk and milk products are used for worship and hence cows have always been sacred to Hindus.  Krishna looked after them when he was young and so they became ever more sacred !
Pecocks – Because Kartikeya rides a peacock.
Elephants – because of their association with Ganesh and Indra.
Mouse – because it is Ganesh’s pet !

Festivals
Hindus celebrate lots of festivals.  Sometimes, there can be 4 festivals in a single week !
Here are some popular festivals - Diwali, Kite festival, Holi, Navratri, Raksha-bandhan etc.

Hindu temple

Hindus go to the temple to worship their God.
The temple is usually dedicated to a single God or a group of Gods – like the family of Shiva.

In the room where the God(s) “live”, the priest uses rice, kanku, water, flowers , arti (lamp), incense stick and prasad (sacred food) to worship the God.

Taj Mahal(built by Raja Paramardi Dev)-The True Story

True story of Taj Mahal implies that it was built by Raja Paramardi Dev(a Hindu) not by Shah Jahan, 500 years(in 1155 AD) earlier than the date specified in history of Taj Mahal.
Most of the people in our country do not know that Taj Mahal was not built by Shah Jahan, lot of research has gone and results of different researchers are the same and conclusion is very much different from the one which every body believes is true.built not by Shah Jahan but originally at least 500 years earlier in 1155 AD by Raja Paramardi Dev as a Vedic temple. Here are some of the points I have given after studying a lot about the research work by researchers, you will get to know something really different after going through them :-

1.The term Tajmahal itself never occurs in any mogul court paper or chronicle even in Aurangzeb's time. The attempt to explain it away as Taj-i-mahal is therefore, ridiculous and can't be accepted easily.

2.The ending "Mahal"is never muslim because in none of the muslim countries around the world from Afghanistan to Algeria is there a building known as "Mahal".

3.The unusual explanation of the term Tajmahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal, who is buried in it, is illogical in at least two respects viz., firstly her name was never Mumtaj Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani and secondly one cannot omit the first three letters "Mum" from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name of the building.

4.Since the lady's name was Mumtaz (ending with 'Z') the name of the building derived from her should have been Taz Mahal, if at all, and not Taj (spelled with a 'J').These small things matter a lot when we are going to write Indian history based on these facts.

5.Several European visitors of Shahjahan's time allude to the building as Taj-e-Mahal is almost the correct tradition, age old Sanskrit name Tej-o-Mahalaya, signifying a Shiva temple. Contrarily Shahjahan and Aurangzeb avoid using the Sanskrit term and call it just a holy grave.

6.The tomb should be understood to signify NOT A BUILDING but only the grave or centotaph inside it. This would help people to realize that all dead muslim courtiers and royalty including Humayun, Akbar, Mumtaz, Etmad-ud-Daula and Safdarjang have been buried in capture Hindu mansions and temples.

7.Moreover, if the Taj is believed to be a burial place, how can the term Mahal, i.e., mansion apply to it?

8.Since the term Taj Mahal does not occur in mogul courts it is absurd to search for any mogul explanation for it. Both its components namely, 'Taj' and' Mahal' are of Sanskrit origin.

This is a very small portion I have mentioned here, I have attached very rare and old photograh of TAJ MAHAL also, you can view for better understanding. I will post more photos very soon.

I have posted only 10 percent of the content I have, if I get a request for more explanation, I will post the rest of it also, so please feel free to respond
